Christopher Millin has been massacring words since the mid90s when, as a young man, he dreamed of being a professional journalist. His disdain for nosiness and making phonecalls got him booted out of the profession pretty darn quick. In 2005, he had a weird dream about a one-eyed giant that collected human legs and put them in a museum he had built for himself. That dream turned into the middle-grade fantasy/horror novel THE KING OF ARUGULA, which was published by Thistledown Press in 2007. Christopher parlayed that success into his next literary adventure, CROW TOES QUARTERLY Magazine, an art and literature magazine for children 9 -12 (though most of his readers and subscribers were adults). CTQ delighted in the mischievous, the terrifying and the mystical. It was pure imagination, produced by a fictional staff that lived an adventure all their own (read CTQ: Tales From A Playfully Dark World and CTQ: More Tales From A Playfully Dark World). CTQ was published from 2006 – 2011 and from 2020 – 2022. Now Christopher just writes for fun, plays fetch with his dog, Tonka, and makes musical cacophonies with his collection of cheap analog synthesizers. He lives with his partner Sarah, in Nelson, British Columbia.
